Clearing cache and cookies (or restarting the app/browser) can often fix many issues including search or predictive-text glitches. Here’s how to do it depending on what you’re using:
🧭 If You’re Using SetConnect in a Web Browser
Google Chrome
- Click the three dots ⋮ in the top-right corner.
- Go to Settings → Privacy and security → Clear browsing data.
- Choose “Cookies and other site data” and “Cached images and files.”
- Select a time range (e.g., “All time” for a full reset).
- Click Clear data.
- Close Chrome completely and reopen it.
Microsoft Edge
- Click the three dots ⋯ → Settings → Privacy, search, and services.
- Under Clear browsing data, click Choose what to clear.
- Select Cached images/files and Cookies.
- Click Clear now, then restart Edge.
Safari (Mac)
- Click Safari → Settings (or Preferences) → Privacy tab.
- Click Manage Website Data…
- Choose Remove All → Remove Now.
- Quit and reopen Safari.
📱 If You’re Using the SetConnect Mobile App
On iPhone/iPad (iOS)
- Go to Settings → General → iPhone Storage.
- Find and tap SetConnect.
- Tap Offload App (this clears cache but keeps your data).
- Reinstall it by tapping the icon again on your home screen.
Alternative:
Simply close and reopen the app by swiping up from the bottom (or double-tapping Home) and swiping SetConnect away, then reopening it.
On Android
- Go to Settings → Apps → SetConnect (sometimes under “App info”).
- Tap Storage and cache.
- Tap Clear cache.
- (If you need a deeper reset, tap Clear storage/data, but note this may sign you out.)
- Reopen SetConnect.
